Athineon  1941 University Ave./Martin Luther King Jr Way, (510) 705-8500.  L M-F, D Tu-Sat; $.  Takes reservations.  Prices are low and portions are large at this cozy Greek spot, which I prefer for takeout.  Try the cheesy-spinach spanakopita, mousaka, a meatless Greek salad, lamb gyro sandwich roll in a warm pita (upon request they add tzaziki, red onions, tomatoes, and jalapeños).  Mythos beer and non-alcoholic carbonated ouzo soda are available.
