Berkeley: Peet's+The Cheese Board Collective; Pandemic Adventures

80 North

During this period that we are emerging from shutdown, we need to discover activities to feed our spirit.  Remember always to double-check current regulations by visiting each destination's website.

Pleasant walk to pick up some favorite foodie supplies

Shattuck Ave./Vine St., Berkeley

Start your walk on Vine Street at Original Peet's for coffee beans and tea leaves.  You might also want to pick up a coffee to go.  More description.

Then stroll across Shattuck Avenue to The Cheese Board Collective.  Though on the day I visited the selection was limited, the plan is to add more items in the future.  I was able to secure many of my favorites, which included cornmeal cherry scones, green castel vetrano olives, granola, and a partially-baked pizza (this day it was zucchini and cheese with pesto sauce).  In very efficient fashion, orders were taken and paid for at the first window, and the goods were picked up at the second window.  More description.
