It’s window service here.  Sometimes you’ll be able to see pastries in process in the open kitchen.  Seating is available outside only, and it is often taken up by groups of bicyclists.  Don’t-misses include a spectacular gluttonous sourdough bread and the sea-salted, brown-sugar chocolate-chip cookie.  For lunch, think pepperoni pizza, pasta of the day, and Caesar salad, washed down with craft beer or wine.

There is just barely enough room to select and buy after passing through the flower-painted door rim of the tiny Tomales Bakery.  The syrupy, nutty sticky buns and “Puff Daddy”—a cinnamon-sugar covered croissant—are popular and tasty.  Sometimes you’ll be able to see pastries in process in the open kitchen.  A few seats are available outside.
