Casual Contimo Provisions is famous for its buttermilk biscuit sandwiches. My favorite is the simple ham & jam, for which the biscuits are made in house from an old family recipe (they are on par with my own recipe for Cream Biscuits). The flavorful ham is smoked and molasses-brined in house, and the seasonal jam is also made on the premises.

More biscuit sandwiches, as well as traditional sandwiches--think BLT and roast beef--are also on the menu, but the one I plan to experience next time I visit is the Peachy Ham & Cheese stuffed with ham, mustard-roasted peaches, ricotta, fresh nectarines, and mixed lettuces. Oh my! And I also want to try the unusual housemade Turmeric Soda.

Do allow time to browse the worthy take-home pantry items. Plenty of seating is available inside, and a few tables are also available outside adjacent to the parking lot. Another good option is to order to go and take your purchase to a town park for a picnic.
