Set amid houseboats and artist studios, this ceramics factory has an adjoining store that sells its well-known tiles and classically simple, contemporary ceramic dinnerware. The line is used in many upscale restaurants, including Chez Panisse in Berkeley, and is in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in NYC.
