Breakfast is served all day at Tomate Cafe, and the menu was recently expanded to include an Applewood Bacon Benedict with perfectly poached puffy eggs, a Lox Benedict, and a Veggie Benedict. More items include omelettes and burritos, as well as a two eggs with potatoes and toast classic and a hot oatmeal. Lunch brings on an array of sandwiches--a BLT with more of that delicious Applewood bacon and a cheeseburger are among them--as well as salads, housemade soup, Mexican items, and a tasty hummus. Diners order at the counter, take a number, then select a table either in the large open interior or out on the quiet, often-sunny, and dog-friendly patio and wait for their food to arrive.
