San Francisco: Lucky Tuk Tuk; things to do

San Francisco

Lucky Tuk Tuk

This tour takes place in a fun vehicle known as a tuk tuk.  If you’ve traveled in Thailand, you probably are familiar with these brightly-colored, open-air vehicles with colorful blinking lights.  Environmentally friendly, they are entirely electric (making them environmentally friendly) and seat up to 6 people.  The Lucky Tuk Tuk company’s claim that they are “the most fun you can have on 3 wheels” is probably true, and heated seats and colorful warm blankets keep you cozy in San Francisco’s notorious fog.  Choose from the Ultimate SF City Tour ($75-$85, age 5-11 $45-$55) or a Craft Beer Tasting Crawl ($118; must be age 21+).  Customized tours that include hotel pick up--and even karaoke--can be arranged.

  1. You certainly uncovered an unusual way to see San Francisco. We have never traveled by Tuk-Tuk, but it certainly looks like a fun way to see the sights.
